The drawing challenge this week is being hosted by Norma
She chose "bead" for this week and I had a lot of fun finding sticks
cutting them apart, drilling holes in them to put them back together again.
I think I'd like to find some thin wire to string them on so they maintain
their stick shapes. Please visit her blog to see more variations on the theme "bead"
This makes me squeal with delight Kristen. I feel just like a kid in a candy shop. I'm not really fond of snakes per se, but this organic shape and the whole design sense of this work is simply wonderful. Yes, I agree that it would look interesting beaded onto a wire. Gosh I love these. Organic art that is playful. In a store, I would handle them. Hugs, Norma, x
ReplyDeleteHi, Kristen!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very good idea!
I love the necklaces made from a branch (with smaller branches)
Very good! really
Oh, I'm sorry, its me, Roberto
ReplyDeleteThese are fun foraged beads and with the Kristen color stripe, too. I love how you sanded their edges too so they are soft as they meet each other on the twine.
