I'm not sure why...but right now it feels good to have my hands working
in many different spots :)
I hope this light outlook on the new year lingers a good while.
I think relaxing in who I am is going to be my practice this year.
I know it sounds silly cause you are who you are right...but
my goal is to really "relax" in who I am...I think that takes a certain amount of
courage and discipline in letting go and then -just being.
We'll see what the year holds. In any event I'm looking forward to sharing it with you!
dear Kirsten,
ReplyDeleteI wish you and your family
a very good relaxing year
a fine intention to me
I said something similar yesterday
;^))

the first photo,(very small on my blogger dashboard) made me think of Sleeping Beauty, where the story starts with her mother pricking herself and wishing her daughter having lips red as blood x
ReplyDeletelooks lovely!
ReplyDeletedear kirsten,
ReplyDeleteyou put it in truly amazing words;
'my goal is to really "relax" in who I am...I think that takes a certain amount of courage and discipline in letting go and then -just being.'
it's a beautiful, firm but gentle support for me right now.
thanks!
may your year be blessed with just being who you are.
love,
i X
Just lovely,
ReplyDeletedear Kristen,
your needle work, even your last post... Your daughter is just cute with her laughter (and your son, too. Both very confident and happy). Ph. ears fitting perfect to the object. Those colours... mmmh, delicious. And, a little surprise to me... that this squared object looks so female round! Great. Please tell me more about it!
And: I wanna please invite you to this week's dc... I am the host with SNAKE.
Love
x Ariane.
Oh, and love your words here. For me you describe the contact to the innerself. Authentic Sein. Great goal!

ReplyDeleteOh Kristen. Relaxing into yourself... this post reminds me of the interview I heard on, ON Point with Jeff Bridges and Bernie Glassman Zen master. They have a new book out...here is the link: http://onpoint.wbur.org/2013/01/08/jeff-bridges
