The drawing challenge this week is being hosted by Helen and she asked us to think
about postage stamps. I used it to make an envelope for my son's stamp collection
and embellish my favorite stamp from the Azores for the front.
Visit Helen's blog for more postage :)
Kristen this post made my heart beat a little bit faster for a moment as I read it. This is just such a sweet thing that a sweet mother did for a sweet son. This is a loving memory he will have. The color blue is so fitting, and the texture soft for handling. That it is an envelope thrills me. Wonderful. *hugs* Norma, x
ReplyDeleteWhat a cuddly envelop for treasures. I agree with Norma...sweet, memorably, loving.

Kristen this post is so gorgeous. I cant tell you how happy I am to firstly find a child that loves
ReplyDeletestamps and secondly the wonderful little pouch you made for him. If it wasnt so functional I would want to frame it. Really lovely.
Have a wonderful week

Kristen, this sweet little blue flannel pouch is charming, and makes me think back to my own dear ones when they were small. I sewed clothes for them, and recall the softness of those flannels as I hugged their small bodies. Have a wonderful week, sus
